Orange sweet potatoes are the most delicious. My fries are not sweet potato fries if they are not orange in colour though. 🍠
Perfect for snacking or served as a main.
Sweet potatoes are a good source of Vitamin A which helps in strengthening the immune system.
This recipe is quick and easy.
Ingredients:
* Two medium-sized orange sweet potatoes.
*Cooking oil for frying. Go for olive oil for a healthier option
Before frying:
* ⏱5 mins prep
*Wash and peel the sweet potatoes [peeling is optional ].
* Cut each potato into 4 pieces and then slice into thin to medium size.
Cooking
1. Heat oil in a pan [I used sunflower oil].
2. When hot, add the cut sweet potato.
3. Fry for about 10 mins [stirring occasionally] or you can just wait for your ancestors to give you the signal depending on how crispy you want it😛
You do not need seasoning for this recipe [optional]. I served it with my homemade chilli.
